Ah, found the solution. The part of the window with the x was off the top of the screen. If I grabbed the bottom of the screen and pulled it up, the top appeared and I was able to resize the window to make it all visible. It must be some setting I have, because everytime going to a chat, it appears the same way off the top of the screen.

Just a heads up about deleted posts... If you delete one of your posts, you (the original author) are still able to see the deleted text and it may look like the post is not gone. If you look carefully you'll see that the text is greyed out. Other posters simply see "This post has been deleted!"
